Do you want to get the most out of your underfloor heating system? You should know that your comfort depends not only on the boiler, but also on how the pipes are laid under the floor!
There are 3 main types of layouts, and each has its place:
1️⃣ Bifilar (Spiral) Layout (The Most Efficient!):
How it works: Hot water and cold water pipes run side by side, in a spiral.
Result: Even heat in every corner of the room! Your feet are not hot in one place, cold in another. Ideal for large rooms. ✅
2️⃣ Meander (Snake-like) Layout:
How it works: Water enters from one side, moves around the room like a "snake" and exits from the other.
Where it is used: Usually applied in small areas, corridors or rooms that are elongated in shape. The water inlet side may be slightly warmer than the outlet side.
3️⃣ Modular (Variable) Layout (Targeted Heating):
Result: Similar to the serpentine shape, but the pipe spacing is different.
Purpose: To prevent heat loss by compressing pipes in cold areas such as windows. It is a "tailored" solution for the needs of each room.
Don't know which layout is best for your home?
Don't worry, Alzone.az experts are with you! We prepare the optimal project according to the layout of your rooms, heat loss and your wishes and implement it in the most professional way.

Boilers, in other words, are installation materials that heat and store water thanks to the resistance inside the coil or water heater. Boilers are divided into three types according to their structure. Boilers are used in central hot water preparation systems in places where people live collectively. Serpentine rapid boiler types are used in collective living areas and should not be confused with household boilers. Since household boilers are intended for individual use, their volume and water heating capacity are much lower.
The main areas where boilers are used for domestic water heating are as follows.
Hospitals
Schools
Shopping malls
Hotels
Dorms
Construction sites
Apartments
Factories
The most important criterion in selecting a boiler is its area of use. Boiler selection should be made by mechanical engineers based on certain criteria. The boiler is selected in accordance with the hot water needs of collective living areas, according to the conditions of the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers. The calculated data is calculated by calculating the hourly amount of water needed and all water use sources (taps) are open for 1 hour. In short, boiler selection should be made based on hourly production cost and equal utilization factor.

The expansion tank is an important component in heating and cooling systems that regulates the excess pressure caused by the expansion of water volume with increasing temperature and maintains the system at a safe pressure level. These tanks accept the increased volume of water from heat, reduce corrosion in the system and prevent water loss. The expansion tank is available in vertical and horizontal shapes with a volume range of 24-5000 liters, with a working pressure of 10 bar and 16 bar. It is important to ensure safety in boiler rooms. What is an expansion tank? Expansion tanks are widely used in closed heating and water supply systems. In heating systems, the water in the closed circulation is under a certain pressure, and as the water starts to heat up, the water starts to expand and causes the pressure in the closed system to increase. In systems without an expansion tank, due to the continuously increasing pressure, water causes leaks on the weak side of the system, and the increased pressure also damages the heating equipment. In booster systems, the expansion tank performs a balancing function and prevents the pumps from continuously operating in large systems with small water losses. Currently, our company offers you expansion tanks and membranes made in Turkey.
